Description

It's nearing the end of a long day's work and Julianna is eager for her husband to finish up in the fields and spend a little time with her while there is still some daylight left to take a ride in grandfathers old truck. She's looking forward to a ride into town for an ice cream, then a slow ride home to enjoy the remainder of the evening on the porch swing before turning in, wrapped in her husbands arms. This time is what she longs for, this is what makes her feel as though life's labors are paid off with their own unique precious rewards. This is the time of the day which makes her feel alive, and starts her up! Thank You so much for taking a look at this evenings work. Hope you all had a tolerable Monday. Have a great night! You capture the longing in her expression quite well, I think - and it looks like grandpa's truck has either been very well cared for or lovingly restored.
