Chestnuts are among my favorite trees and I have numerous memories involving them. Needless to say I love this image, even without pleasant memories associated with this particular type of tree. The shapes in this image are super and I love that nice, green umbrella overhead: perfect for relaxing. The green is so rich and vibrant and it makes me feel warmer than Chicago's current, chilly weather allows. This is great!

I love this capture! Wonderful composition, which sends my eyes traveling up the image to the canopy of leaves at the top. Beautiful lighting and color! I love the way the top is bright with light and the lower section is a mixture of deep shadows, soft light, and distant fringes of more bright light. The complexity and depth is marvelous. You've captured the wonderful play of light on plants. Very beautiful!
