Description

Venice. The Frari’s Basilica. In the left aisle, near the third pillar, there is a holy water stoup, with a little statue of the Holy Virgin, which comes from the hermitage of Monte Rua in Euganean Hills (18th century). On the background of the photo (in the right aisle) you can see the Altar of St. Joseph of Copertino, with the painting by Giuseppe Nogari (1699-1763) and the marble statue of St. Jerome, by Alessandro Vittoria (1525-1608).
