Description

Terry's World is a habitable planet, about the same size and mass as Earth, circling an F9 star. It is a younger, larger, brighter, hotter sun than our Sol. The star's habitation zone for Earth-like conditions is much farther out than the one in our Solar System; ranging from 1.115 to 1.181 AUs. (Earth's distance from Sol is 1 AU.) Terry's World orbits 1.17 AUs from its primary in just about the same position within its primary's habitation zone as the Earth resides within Sol's habitation zone. Its year is corresponds to its orbital range of 1.17 AUs and is 117% longer than an Earth year or 427.05 Earth days as it orbits its star at about the same rate of speed as Earth around our Sun. However, Terry's World's 22 hour day is a bit shorter than Earth's so it orbits its primary in 467.74 local days. Its average annual surface temperature is 49.1 C. or 35.5 F. It's a bit hotter than Earth's 32 F. The result is a lush vernal world with bright hazy atmospheres. Here we have a local boat sailing down one of Terry World's many rivers. Makes one think of the old song: "Row, row, row your boat Gently down the stream. Merrily, merrily, Life is but dream." Guess that's it for now. Nicely done Jeremy..really like the light and atmo in this,and the peaceful mood is well conveyed! My only crit would be the terrain texture used,the tiling is noticeable in the distant shoreline...maybe adjust the tiling scale or offset it to add some variety,but that is a minor nit-pick of an otherwise excellent image!

Excellent scene! (But just a nit on the text. I think you got your temperature scale translation between C and F a bit wrong and Earth's average temp is about 15 C, or 59 F. But that doesn't subtract from the great image).
