Description

This started off as an attempt to make snow or rain. I think the snow turned out pretty well. Please let me know what would improve the image. Thanks!

I think the snow turned out pretty well too. No post processing? I've not been able to get snow that thick without using Painter afterwards. Beautiful, serene picture, too.

nice picture.....very classic art look to it, and you did a great job with the snow and the depth of field I think you call it, making snow look like it moves through the entire image.

no school? that is only a light dusting of snow :) Picture look, great very realistic, and after 8 years in Colorado I think I know what snow looks like.....

Around here, that much (little) snow would close down the city. Except for making my signature, there is no post-processing. I applied a Photoshop created texture to 2 cubes, one directly in front of the camera, the other surrounding the scene. I'm glad that some snow experts think this looks like real snow. (Thankfully I can't remember what that 4 letter word looks like.) ;-)

I love the whole atmosphere.. it remarks very well, the meaning of the title and the scene has a balance of composition that I really dig. Classically created.
