Description

Wouldn't want to get on the wrong end of this fellow. I'm not sure what he is; hopefully someone clever will be along in a bit to identify him. Or her. It was spared from the lawnmower this afternoon. Thank for looking & have a great weekend. ~Steve~

It is an Elm Sawfly. They are non-stinging relatives of bees and wasps. I found it on whatsthatbug (dot) com. Excellent photos!
