Description

No it doesn't really smell, after its taxidermy treatment. It is guarding a small hut by the entrance to the poison plants' garden in the Alnwick Gardens in Northumberland.

Aw... he reminds me of my rattie "Beige", but this fellows fur looks extremely scruffy. Smell a rat? I doubt it - I've never seen an animal so obsessed with keeping its fur clean as a rat is. Lick like MAD! And comb it with its toes and fingers. But the cage can smell after a few days (pee and poo). Nice photo, but, is that a domestic or a wild rat? Nice photo, but I doubt if rats associate with skulls - they prefer live friends! Keep up the good work! :-) Squeek, squeek!
