Description
I started this scene Saturday by modeling "The Flanders Panel" by Arturo Perez-Reverte (great book and great writer). I then figured I should have some sort of desk and then some more books and so on. Anyway, this is how it finally turned out. Rendered with radiosity (1 light) in C4D XL 7 with some colour correction and touch-ups in Photoshop.

Great texturing... The desk is a little too shiny for me but its your desk what can I say:)

What a great image... everything from the lighting to the post-it notes is so beautifully realistic. Being able to have a peek at the drawer contents is a really nice touch. Terrific render, cartesius!

Great image! I love the texturing of the pages of the book - you're right, Perez-Reverte is a great author, especially "El Club Dumas" and the accompanying Roman Polanski film "The Ninth Gate". Great atmosphere, great drawing!

Beautiful realism. A very balanced composition and great use of textures. Your light setting turned out perfectly.
