Description

Rachel's family got some bad news last week. Their blond Lab has cancer and there is nothing that can be done but keep her comfortable. Chris brought her home so the kids could get to say goodbye and get used to the idea. He will take her back to the Vet soon to have her put to sleep. Sean has started sitting with Dixie and feeding her one piece of dog food at a time so she can "get big and strong" again. It is breaking Chris's heart. Credits: Mil Dog, Jai hair, Sally Mae hair, GQ hair, Stylin' Pants, Great Room, puppy bowl - DAZ Day Wear, Day Out - Sanbie Glasses, Simple Room Curtain - 3-d-c Teeny Jeans, Tee, Sneakers, and M4 Tee - SickleYield M4 Trainers - Poser World Background - HoboBo

Animals love us in way that our fellow humans are seemingly incapable of...they don't judge us, or care what we look like...all they ask is a little kindness and regular feedings. Breaks my heart...have been there a few times, but I keep coming back for more... Thanks for sharing. A poignant image that recalls Norman Rockwell.

I know that feeling all too well. After putting my third dog down a few year back, i said that was the last time. But a year ago a big yellow lab stray wandered into my life and so the cycle has begun once again. It is a good cycle tho, one full of good years before the sorrowful parting. Lost in the sad story is this render is really very well composed. Nice work.

I'm so sorry to hear about poor Dixie. It's rough to lose a family member, whether they have two legs or four.

It's always sad to lose a pet. I have seen my sister said goodbye to her one and only dog a few years ago. Now that I have my own I know how that feeling is. Such a touching scene you made here.
