Description

H.P.Lovecraft, as early as the 1920's came up with a notion that perhaps the evil daemons that ancient humans both reviled and revered, were in fact alien beings from far off stars and perhaps, even dimensions. One such being was Cthulhu, High Priest and Ruler of his race. Worshiped and feared by early humanity. Dead, but yet, still dreaming for Millions of years in his house in R'lyeh. He waits, he dreams, he sends out his message to those sensative enough to heed the Call... Artists, Occultists and the Insane. Being all three, I decided to show my dedication to the Ancient Great One. This is a Star Spawn, one of Cthulhu's own race. It's a bit untidy, but I'm sure you'll agree, not bad for a first attempt at using ZBrush for modelling. Please tell me what you think and also, check out my following Stereogram of this image to come. What better way to pay homage to an Interdimensional Godhead than to make a picture of him that exceeds it's own dimensions?
