Description
I don’t have much hope for the human race, seems to get worse every day...the Government is just as bad as the people these days. And yes I was once a proud American and no I don't believe any Religious group is going to free us from the mess we have made. Humans need to start taking responsibility for what they are doing, right or wrong! When a kid spills his Cheerios you don't pray to God to clean up the mess, you teach that child how to take care of the mess themselves so the next time it happens they know what to do. No I am not against God, just saying people need to stop using God as a scape-goat...Shutting up now...
Thank you for your clicks and comments on my previous post folks. I am slowly getting caught up on some commenting, but mostly recent images, bear with me.
Godsmack is one of my absolute favorite bands; their first album got me through a crappy divorce in fact. lol I have also had the privilege of seeing them in concert (sorry, bragging now) and their drum battle between Sully and Shannon is the freakin most awesome thing ever lol I highly recommend you check it out if not in person, on YouTube!

Great job on this dramatic image Rose. I totally agree with your thoughts on the direction society is taking and also feel helpless. God gives us free will and expects us to take responsibility for ourselves. Too bad fewer and fewer of us want to do that.

My friend, I once believed as you do and shared your hopelessness...what I've come to realize is that things are no better nor worse than they have been in the past - we just hear a lot more about it because of a prostituted media machine that makes lots of money selling fear and despair. I simply turned it all off and chose to focus on the wonderful things in my own little corner. "Be the change you wish to see in the world." Gods bless - and hang in there (and TURN OFF THE NEWS!) Terrific rendering of whoever that is in this stellar image, Rosie, but she sure does look frantic. As for the lyrics, reading it reminds me of how I feel when I sit up in the bed in the morning, the pain being mostly back related. I don't know how God gets into everything. So illogical. If there is a God, he/she has a lot to answer for. But as an agnostic, that's the way I look at things.

you are right a morally corrupt people will raise more morally corrupt children and will get worse generation to generation.. what we are getting here in America is what was voted for.. unfortunately those who could make the right votes sit on their butts here and do not vote so the a***$$holes get elected.. as for GOD he will give to all what they earn.. sow to the wind reap the wind. great image btw!

yeah thats the easy thing. shit happens you blame the devil and you ask god for help without moving your own sorry azz thats a fine attitude . here in spain people are demonstrating for not wearing a helmet on the bikes they dont want to wear a helmet.(anyway spaniards only follow their own rules dont ever try to explain something they look at you if you'd come from another planet). just waiting that the first azzholes break their necks on the bikes.

Glad that's just a dummy grenade (note blue spoon) 'cuz Hope is still here. Take our government back by voicing your opinions and DEMANDS to your Congressmen. Do you know who your Congressmen are? When was the last time you contacted them and voiced your displeasure with their performance? "We" ARE the government. They work for US. TALK TO THEM! Don't stick your heads in the sand and expect everything to change to the way you want it. It's YOUR responsibility to keep the government on track. So, as so many commenters have said, TAKE RESPONSIBILITY! This time regarding your RESPONSIBILITY of guiding your government in the way it should go. No one else is going to do it-IT'S UP TO YOU TO DETERMINE THE PATH OF OUR GOVERNMENT. All you have to do is to SPEAK UP! What are you waiting for? What's your excuse for remaining silent?
