Sorry for not responding to your work lately, there are other priorities in my life right now so far as you know. Shooting pictures is at a low level....just as my health at the moment. But it is nice to see an older shot I took. What a wonderful creation you made of it.....

I do all kinds of things to photos in my photoshop paintings (not to my photography, but to my paintings based on photography). But it's all so broad and swooshy compared to what you do with a photo in photoshop. Your tall-grasses totally dance with the cheetah, they undulate and move with it, resonate with it, harmonize with it, and echo its rhythms in their own. At key parts of the cheetah's anatomy, your grasses meet it, or split open (in two directions) at it, or curve in honor of the cheetah's contours, etc. Look at the head---in case you do these intuitively, and don't study them when you're done: The tufts meet the bottom of the cheetah's head almost like a beard; they rush up to greet its chin. (And they're of a similar hue.) Then, the tufts above the head act like a mane of sorts; while the tufts to the cheetah's right (our left) are like big limbs rubbing its head. The whole environment is an embrace or resonation with the cat. I don't know what you've done to the cheetah photo---I assume you've adjusted it to blend it into your vision (and there may be great artistry in what you've done); but the cheetah is filled with undulating waves, as great felines will create in their bodies; and those big front leg muscles are beautifully delineated in the limb and body above it. (Muscle=mass which allows the cat to leap from high places and land with total absorption of the blow.) But your background is aflow with the energies of the beast, and move into darker more inward hues above the cheetah: It's a splendid background, and wonderful 'embracing' of the animal. Oh, and with a big central tuft on the bottom, almost holding the cat up...A terrific embodiment of the spirit of the cat. (I wonder if these are originally much larger: It they are wall-size, for instance, they must have a mesmerizing impact on the viewer.) Beautiful intuitive work.
