Born in a small village near Northgaard in 18362 GC, she grew up in the shadow of Gryphonmyr while Foxmoor was still an independent nation under the rule of Glensheim the Dwelf.  Foxmoor was destroyed at the beginning of the Second Orc Wars and the ruins became an annexed protectorate of Carellon.  She was 90 at the time, an Elven “teenager”.  At that time, Gryphonmyr and that region of the Elven nation was remote and nobody really cared about it.  The Heroes of Arrallon were out and about in those days, but they spent all their time in faraway places like Raidon, Taipai, and the city of Carellon.

She was 98 when the Second Elfkin Wars started,… she’d just turned 100 when it ended.  At the time, she and her family had moved to Dient, where she was introduced to city living, much to her distaste.  She learned enough to not get scrunched on the streets and that she had no interest in becoming just another Sylvisan thug with the street gangs.  She began to seek another way for her life.  She and her family did not suffer quite as much as others under Carellonian rule,… in fact, she didn’t see the Carellonian occupation as being a bad thing at all.  It brought needed aid and money into Foxmoor at a time when the country was all but destroyed by war.  Her and her father did not agree on this point.

Many years of relative peace ended when adventurers resurrected King Rillivan and he led the Foxmoor peoples in a revolt against the Carellonians.  She was 150 at the time, officially an adult by Sylvisan law.  When her father headed off to fight against the Carellonian army, she refused to join him.  He died in battle, the two never actually seeing eye to eye and never achieving any actual closure to their troubled relationship.  Her mother, torn between her husband and her daughter, fell to bad health and started a long, slow decline.  Friends said she had given up the will to live.

She and her mother moved back to their home village near Northgaard and spent seventeen years living the rural life of woodsmen.  She spent most of her time caring for her aging, sickly mother,… until her mother died forty years ago during the Mordai incident.  The sudden loss of magical power in the region caused her mother’s condition to suddenly worsen and she died of heart failure at the age of 487,… very young for a Wood Elf.

She crossed the border into Gryphonmyr, a hot bed of action and adventure at that time, and was introduced to Errilyn Etheralada and her two daughters, the priestesses at the Temple of the Seldarine at Gryphonmyr.  She further honed her skills as both fighter and priestess of Corellon, something her father had initially pushed her towards following the Second Elfkin Wars.

In 18563, as part of the first class of Kar’Dhaer, she started university, graduating 5 years later, in 18568,… last year, a year before Miri.  Since then, she’s been living in Illindimyr, the Elven tree village and religious commune overseen by Meriadne.  She was involved in fighting the Shadow Goblin assault, distinguishing herself in that battle amongst the Elven population on the mountain.

Today, Jessika Ynadre is Warpriestess of Corellon, a member of the Illindimyr religious council, servant and follower of Illindiel, and the newest member of the Night Raptors.
