The white light is beautiful, but I miss sharpness of the head of the snail making them too little contrast with the background.

missed the focus... i'm with paul here - the thumb looks stunning in b&w with the contrasts in place, but up close it just loses it :(

Trying to focus that close with a moving object is no easy task, The focus was on his/ her eyes. I knew I was going to get some out of focus and I was fine with that. But I do agree it would be a lot better if the snail was all in focus. There little eyes also move around making it difficult. I probably should have done auto focus maybe. Thanks for the input guys :)
