TIPPI Straight from doarte’s MADHOUSE archives … a first you’ve never viewed: Alfred Hitchcock’s artist sketch book collection of possible settings and TIPPI HEDREN’s costumes for his famous flick … ‘THE BIRDS’. Rumor has it, Hitchcock almost traded in his addiction to beautiful blonds and summer scenes for an autumn death to set the mood for the monster movie. For those who’ve seen the film you know ‘Hitch’ sacked the witch’s wig and semi Sci-Fi costume to return to a lovely lady in a sunlit season and let flights of monstrous birds assume the title roles of villains. Oh my goodness! How special is that! The background is so beautiful with the foliage so realistic. Great lighting. Yep it's gorgeous and this girl is perfect. It is a magnificent color palette too! Love it Wayne.

stunning lady and her ah... acoutrements... this would have been a completely different movie had it been made with this... would've shown that Barbarella flick a thing or two (with regrets, the Commander and his intended Lady Constance are away on a mission until the next fortnight, and they've asked me to relay any postings to you... thusly)
