Continued from my image "Monorail and Faces (3)"
At Pike Place Market, we found a very helpful shop keeper at the bookstore who directed us to the area most likely to have the book covers my sister, Gail, wanted, and a very helpful artist in the stall next to the one where she normally was, but she was not there this day. We left Gail's information with the very helpful artist, and our feet led us to a place to sit down, a wall where we could watch people go by. Kate practiced on her new ukulele, and had a couple of musicians stop and talk, play a bit, and tell her that she made a good purchase. I took a few pictures, but as my feet were strenuously over ruling any idea of placing weight on them, the pictures were nothing to write home about. We still had some time before our dinner reservation, so (over the screaming objections of my feet) we got off the wall and walked to a nearby teashop (Perennial Tea-Room). There a very knowledgeable and pleasant woman, recommended a tea (called Keemum Hao Ya A) which I liked very well. I bought 8 oz, which I am rapidly depleting. We watched a family taking pictures of each other, relaxed, and had some really good tea.
