This has been interesting following you through this process. And yes, I'm American so I had to check to see what "off-license" meant although I had a good idea already :)

Finally we got to here about your balls! On a more serious note, a few of us went bowling the other night. It was fun. I hadn't been in years. One of the old bowlers there was telling me the difference between the bowling balls I just 'grab' from the rack, and the ones he had especially crafted, His was a big eyeball! Very interesting mate.

Hey what happened to all the old pins? Did you take them home? Here folks like to shoot them up at the gun range. I see lots of spirit orbs flying around. Is this place haunted?
neiwil
Hey Dan, actually it is haunted :-0 but that's just dust caught in the flash....sorry!

Still away to go!

You forgot the disinfectant spray for the shoes after use. You'll need several cases of that too. Quite an undertaking. The owner could have retired to a nice quiet island for all the money being spent on this building. Love this series of photos.

It's good to see private enterprise is still alive and well over your way...so, amortizing this investment out...when might the owner expect to break even and begin to make a profit? Fascinating series!

Great going, Neil! This really shows the different steps in construction and the progress being made (not to mention the accrued costs!). What is your role in this? Accounts? Or just recording the construction for posterity? My immediate thought was - who forgot their car INSIDE the building, then I saw you had made a funny note about re-doing the entrance to get the car out! Ha! That was funny (and I bet expensive)! The round spots I first took to be raindrops on your lens, but you mention dust - yes, very logical. Same problem I've had with snow flakes/ice crystals when photographing during dark winter days/nights. Construction-wise, I can't understand why the ceiling was lowered 50%! Must have been less expensive to have lower outer walls and roof. I assume you have a lot more photos than posted here. After this, we can all build a bowling alley (IF we had the money!). I suspect most people don't have the foggiest idea of how much goes into constructing a place like this. You give a good idea of this. Good job with both photos and description! Keep up the good work! Much appreciated! :-)

Well I was gonna clear out the rest of the shed to try and replicate this development but at about £1 Million for all the equipment but i'm a little short of that total so far. Some sort of car boot sale may be in order to raise the cash :) Oh and i'd have left the car in there.
