Description

It would be interesting to live on a world where a lot of the plants, like grasses and succulents, could walk instead of staying rooted in place. Think it would be difficult to maintain roads and paths for one thing. On Steerman IV they have a serious weed problem. Heh! It is presently TigerFruit Season. It is sweet-tart of taste but it isn't just its colorful markings that gives TigerFruit its name. This spicy fruit bites back! Think of a banana with the firey burn of an Habenaro Pepper! Kasha and Beastie are not gathering the fruit yet; it is not quite ripe. However, they are out scouting TigerFruit clumps in anticipation of the coming harvest. ______________________ This one's for Rhanagaz, who literally overwhelmed me with encourgement this month. Thanks ever so much, my Friend! Same for all the rest of you who loyally visit, comment, and lift me up in so many ways. ______________________ LAMENT: Sigh! Don't bother zooming this one. I had to reduce the quality levels to 8 and size down from 1300 x to 900! Even the quality of my preview picture was down to 1! Very frustrating! Til next time! Jeremy CREDITS: Vegetation: "FinTree," "OddStalk," "SpiderGrass," "SunWatcher," and"TigerFruit" from Orestes Graphics's "Alien Plants" collection. Figure: DAZ's Aiko 3 realistic with "Kasha" morphs and textures, "Natsumy Hair," and her clothing is "Elven Dynasty" for "Elven Soul for A3" (). Animal: Simon's "Beastie."

Nice. Walking plants. Maybe on worlds with long seasons or long days, the plants march to follow the sun.

Oh, thank you very much, Jeremy!! What a fine composed scene!! Love her sweet pet!! It could be real on one of the many newly discovered planets with hospitable atmospheres. The paths of life other places are possible different from Earth. Life, looking as plants with chlorophyl could really have the ability to walk from shadow into the light. But surely lifeforms and biotopes -I'm rather sure - will be much different from what we know, except DNA, amino acids..which seems to be around everywhere. Intelligent "plant" life? Why not - and then Sun bathing will get a quite different meaning...If you are hungry, sit for a while in the Sun.. ;o) Have a great day to all! :o) JohnnyC / Rhanagaz
