Description

This is a portrait of my Father painted as a gift to celebrate Farther's Day. My father has been incredibly supportive of me as an artist, and he pushed me very hard growing up to refine my technique as best as I can. He also gave great critiques and feedback on what to improve on. Although he's not an artist himself, he definitely has a great eye for art and knows what's working and what's not in regards to creating an image. I wanted to experiment a lot with this painting, using a cooler color scheme than I'm used to and trying to create a more ethereal feeling with this painting, which I feel I achieved. With that said, Happy Farther's Day to all!

It's great to have a father who is supportive in what you are doning. So I can imagine that you are very happy with your dad. Love the image.. it's very nice made... Happy Father's day!!
