Description

The Undercroft is a skatepark found underneath the Queen Elizabeth building on the Southbank. For 40 years this space has been used by skaters and graffiti artists and is said to be the birthplace of British skateboarding. Alot like Leake street, which is very closeby, I frequently pass by here to see new streetart, the antics of skateboarders and bmx'ers is icing on the cake! Unlike this pano (it was a very cold day), theres usually a plenty of people here showing off their skills. Sadly, the owners are looking to re-develope this area into retail space - I hope they see sense as this place is iconic and is synonymous with the Southbank.
