Description

Along the IJsselmeer (a lake that lies between the Dutch regions) are a number of picturesque fishing villages. one of which is Edam. Here is a small 10 x 8.5 inch watercolor of it, overlooking a lock between the houses.

That is a first class little watercolour, nicely balanced composition, presenting an attractive location.. I presume Edam being where this red wax covered cheese with the same name comes from.
