Hi, I'm Andrea, and I'm interested in creatures and plants both wild and tamed, and people of all sorts. I only use a compact digital camera ,as I love being able to get it into a back pocket, and not have to cart heavy kit about. I carry a Panasonic Lumix TZ series, binoculars and a hand lens almost everywhere.Most of my outings are with the dogs so I only use point and shoot.
I am getting the hang of Photoshop, thanks to some very kind folk on RR!Â
I have a wildlife garden in Bournemouth, Dorset, in the UK, and spend a lot of time there . I retired from teaching art to teenagers a while ago.
I'm now getting some good results with my digi compacts; it took me a while to make the switch from my old film camera, an 1960 ish Pentax Spotmatic, but the mistakes are much cheaper! Â
I have 4 lodgers, 3 dogs and a parrot who, as at 2017, I have had 40 years.
I has so far had 19 dogs, mostly rescues.

See, having Mohawks & Metal are just signs of a nice well-rounded guy! I like the second "Here" best. Looks like he has had metal in other places on his face and I see a slight tattoo at the hairline which is definitely going to become more visible before too long. I think we shall have to start calling you the Superdrug Accostrix!

Why does Harry dub this guy a loony? Surely he may have a BSC, I grow very weary of people putting labels on others for the way they dress, when I was a heavy metal fan (Still am) but don't dress that way. There were scores of people that would move away from me scared if you will. The immediate feeling was that I was an evil devil worshiper, when in reality I was a Christian with three A levels in mathematics? Really some people! Cool shot and digifiddle my friend.

He does have a nice face. There is a shy quality to his smile, (maybe because he's just been accosted while in the Superdrug) and he has lovely eyes. Excellent portraits! I like this one best.
