Description
My first work with V6/G2.
I'm not exactly happy with how DAZ is working the Poser economy. It used to be you could make an investment in a new DAZ figure, knowing that it would last a long while. But V5/G1 didn't last more than a year and a half. That's a really bad investment for both end users and merchants. But I'm hoping that V6/G2 won't have the same issues that V5/G1 had. I like the fact that Poser support is available from day one. I like the fact that they have split the mesh between female and male bases. I don't like the very high cost though. V6/G2 does seem to bend slightly better. But still has elbow issues. Guess I'll have to buy another package for that too.
This is the stock V6 texture with the stock V6 morph. I then dialed up a few of the G2 morphs. I did a bit of work to the eyes using the Project EYEris pack. The bikini is Hongyu's Bikini with Shana's Leguna Beach textures. It's fit to V6 using the Victoria 4 for Genesis 2 Female package and a smoothing modifier. The background is Nerd3D's Thunder River. The pose was in the V6 Pro package, with tweaks to the facial expression. The lights were from the DAZ Dimension Lights 1 pack that came with buying V6 Pro. Post work was done with Adobe Photoshop CC (yes I'm an idiot for buying/leasing new things).
The render is fairly large so view full screen if you can. I had wanted to go even larger but DAZ Studio 4.6 wasn't very happy with only 12 gigs of physical ram. Guess it's time to upgrade the memory on this machine too.
