Description
Weather has been brutal here lately. Finally was able to get out for a few hours before the rains and thunderstorms interupted my shoot.

Perfect focus on this handsome bird; I've never seen one like this. What a beautiful eye he has! I wonder can he see through all the duckweed, or does he just look for miniscule movement to show him where dinner is hiding?

I have set and observed these birds or I should say bird cause they are usually alone and they are fun to watch they are so focused on their prey. Nice work
