Description

Nam & Kaz’s Prehistoric World Narrative: “Nam?” Kaz asked. “Yes?” replied Nam. “Are you sure we are going the right way?” Kaz asked. “That sure does look like the edge of the world, I think we are going to fall off.” “We are going the right way,” Nam stated. “The edge of the World is to the south, we are fine.” Kaz glanced at Nam’s face and searched his eyes and decided he had just made that up; he had no idea where the edge of the World was. Kaz grinned a little and rolled her eyes, boys were silly sometimes. “Nam?” Kaz asked. “Yes?” replied Nam. “I think we are lost.” Kaz stated. “We are not lost.” Nam said. His voice had a slight annoyed tone that Kaz ignored. “Look Nam, there’s campfire smoke over there,” Kaz pointed at a rising column of thin smoke not far away. “We can just go over there and ask for directions.” Nam picked up his pace and stated, more irritated now, “We are not stopping to ask for directions, I know exactly where we are.” Kaz watched as they slowly got further away from the campfire smoke and sighed. ‘Well,’ Kaz thought, ‘I’m sure as he gets older and more mature he won’t be so stubborn about asking for directions. I just hope we don’t fall off the edge of the World first.’

LOL, how many times have I had a similar conversation. It has been demonstrated that, in general, men have a better sense of direction than women. supposedly because men were the hunters and had to know how to get back to home. Take it or leave it.

LOL! One of the only times I've been truly annoyed with my husband was when he not only refused to go in and ask for directions, but he didn't want me to go in, either! I went in and asked for directions. I mean seriously ... we were in the middle of the Mojave desert. Sheesh!

ROTFL - This is a standard scene in every vacation 'My Everything' and I have been on! I still say I am always right, and she always says 'Oh, the world is round (unlike Kaz) we'll get back home sometime'!!! Wonderful story and image!!
