Description

Modeled in 3dsmax 2012, rendered with Corona plugin. This is a render of my latest freebie, and the model is included in the zip download as a native 3dsmax 2012 scene file (.max), and several scaled .obj file formats, for use in other applications, like Blender and Poser. Please review the included README.txt file for further instructions on how to properly import into your software application. The high resolution texture maps (2048x2048px) are also included for color, specular, and bump channels. The black and white areas are mapped separately with their own Material ID's, so modifying the textures for each color area independently is possible. I admit the UV mapping on this object isn't my best work, but hopefully the seams won't present many problems for you in your close-up renders. This shot is straight from an unbiased, PathTracing render engine without postwork, and clearly shows some of the flaws in the mapping. Hopefully this won't be a problem for your scenes, as they could be easily corrected in post for stills, and wouldn't be too obvious in animation. You can download this model here in freestuff, or at the following locations: Turbosquid.com Soccer Ball
