Description
Just back from a trip to Vancouver, B.C. & environs. This was our first trip there & we were very impressed with the city. Lots of interesting modern glass buildings, public art, beautiful parks & gardens & all surrounded by mountains. This is a photo of the waterfront taken from Granville Island, which is technically not an island but a very small peninsula that is part of Vancouver. Aside from the water, a big market & many shops & restaurants are the main attractions on Granville Island, but unfortunately we got there late in the day & much of it was just closing, so we just settled for dinner. As we were returning to our car, we passed a construction site & behind the transparent netting we noticed a naked young couple in flagrante delicto, going at it with impressive vigor. They seemed quite oblivious to the attentions of passersby.
I need to do lots of catching up to see what you all have been up to in the gallery, but it will take me a while...

A nice shot. That bridge was made for bungee jumping. It would be great to see someone bungee down to the deck of a yacht then go flying back up.

Lovely colour and detail in this capture; Vancouver isn't that far from here, but I've not ever been there.
