Yesterday was one Hot and crazy day man. 107 with a heat index of 113, stay inside sipping Margarita's weather. I happened to check the Weather Radar about 5 pm and saw a T-Storm brewing and heading out of the Mnts this way, right on Rain on me baby... I went out and took a look and freaked out, It was a freakin Monster the leading edge was 80+ MPH straight line winds, it was Brown and Angry, barely got the WindGen shut down and freewheelin before it took off for Mexico, got back to the house and switched from Local to Grid power then back to the Backdoor in time to see the Roof of my Machineshop/Motorcycle Garage Heading South. I grew up in Tornado Alley, seen Nadoes, Hissacanes and Monsoons but I aint never seen wind like this, relentless, then came the Hail...then the Rain...Man, we needed the Rain for sure but Damn... I'm glad I had been riding the day before and my Bike was on the Front Porch or it would have been in the Shop that is barely standing now. Just crazy, Mother Nature unleashed, glad I''m at a point in Life I can just Laugh and think, wow that could have been a lot worse.
Thanks for the l@@k

Sounds terrifying Len. I'm just glad you are ok, and hope the temperature has dropped down now. Lucky for you and your bike anyway as you say. The roof can always be replaced..I don't think it could have been much worse! Trust you to play it down. Anyway the image is a small scary taste of what went on yesterday! Er - did you think to take a photograph? heheh.....

As Always superb fractal artwork Len.

Excellent fractal portrayal of the Storm. Super JW work, Len. The planet has gone mad and there is strong evidence that it is going to get worse. The old farmers around here see signs of one hell of a winter.Something is most definitely not right, question is, " Who's running this Carnival Planet?"
cjn

Aggitated, that reallys says it all. Maybe a terra firma is venting her frustration and passing it along to us all. Straight wind is scary, had it lift my car and me up and down, Sorry about the roof but glad you are okay. Living here in tornado alley does keep us humble in the face of the might of nature.
