Description

Modeled in 3ds max, background in Vue. Blériot XI The Channel crossing, July 25, 1909 It is 4:15 in the morning of July 25, 1909. Louis Blériot is already on board of the plane, "Bleriot XI." The wind fell overnight and the time seems right for the challenge launched by the British newspaper the Daily Mail: crossing the Channel on a "heavier than air". Blériot made a sign to his mechanic: it launches! At 4 h 35 'he continued his flight, rushing to the sea. Soon, near the place called the Barracks, he flies over the Navy ship the Escopette, on which Mrs. Bleriot is present. Bleriot stands alone with the sea stretching to the horizon. It has a compass, but it crashes. He listens to the ringing of the "three legs" (Anzani 3-cylinder engine) lubricated with ricin oil. 25 miles of sea to cross ... immensity, because there is no reference guide for the aviator. He looks at boats that tell him the Dover direction, Britain. Then he saw the huge tricolor flag that his friend, the journalist Charles Fontaine deployed in a field so that it knows where to look. At 5:12, after a turn it's done, Blériot cut-off the engine on English soil. A huge crowd welcomed him. The King will receive him the next day. The event has a world impact.

Very nice! This really evokes the lonely pleasure of flying. You've put in all the right elements to make it work. Great history too.
