Fiddling around a little more with the first image resulted in this - a very different mood for such subtle changes! There is so much more going on here than just wondering what she is smiling about! I tried some new things and learned a lot in Poser doing this image. First, I usually use the 'Point at" to make the eyes look right into the camera, but this time I positioned a primitive sphere object just behind the camera and pointed her eyes at that. This way I could move the sphere around and change her gaze. Worked like a charm! (If you get the sphere too close to her face she might go cross-eyed though! ). I used a single spotlight to light her. Another spotlight behind her pointed at a hanging sheer curtain and behind that a photostudio style backdrop - plain. The light hitting the sheet gives the mottled 'cloudy' effect, the cone of light creates the circular luminous area behind Alva. I was really excited when I saw the rendered result! Just what IS she smiling about anyway??? (Smile hand crafted by me via dial spinning.) Postwork in Photoshop. I'm just getting started with RebelMommy's Alva character - she's amazing!!!
