My name is Dorothea Beer-Kramer. I was born on 09 March, 1957 in Aachen / Germany. Many of the last years I lived and worked in Hessen near Frankfurt a. M. Painting and colours are fascinating me since my earliest childhood. To create a sense of depth get rid of those low clouds in the foreground and use some haze:This will make (terrain-)features stand out more, drawing the eye to the distance. Also I'd move the foreground vegetation more to the sides. Just my 2cents.

This is very good Dotthy. Although it may be difficult to lower the camera and still get a good view of the lake, maybe doing so would give you a better point of view.
