Description

Some Hopi Indians live in Arizona, in adobe buildings, similar to these. This is an older draw of mine, that I did at a digital drawing website, using my "mouse"....I never drew an adobe type building before....I hope it looks ok. This is kindof a "boring" looking image....."lol"....I'll probably decide to delete it....whatever.....

Don't you dare! ;) It's not boring and it's very typical of southwestern style art. It's also very good, Misty! I love all the different colored doors on the pueblos. The little girls are sweet and the light effects are pretty darn good! You are your worst critic dear.

NO, don't delete them! This is a great image. I love the colors and shapes (right word?) of the buildings. Amazing work, Misty!

I think it looks wonderful! Half the time your stuff is gone by the time I get here. I like the illusion of a setting sun reflected on the doorway. ")

I don't think it's boring at all - it's wonderful art, Misty! The adobe dwellings look very good, and the lighting is excellent! It's a 'keeper' in my book!

Definitely. I've seen prints in souvenir shops that weren't this good. What media did you use?

I really like this piece! It's a pleasing scene with pleasing colors, and the way you've indicated the light is gorgeous - like late afternoon or early morning when the sun is low in the sky. The women walking together finishes it all off nicely. That you do so many excellent works with your mouse always astounds me! (Maybe your mouse has an artistic flair, as well! I consider myself fairly dexterous when using a mouse, but I suspect mine would probably bite me or give me an indignant glare if I tried to get it to do the things you do with yours! lol)
