Hi there. :))))) How are you? I am doing most sweetly. :)))) I am loving these beautiful Summer days. :))) Summer puts such joy in my heart. :))))) In the evenings we love to go out on our backporch and watch all of the lighting bugs as they come out of the grass. :))))) Nature is so beautiful. :)))))) Talking about beautiful. This is Miss Sophie celebrating her first birthday. :)))) Birthday was on June 10th. :)))))) Alecia made all of the decorations and food. :)))) She worked so hard on everything. When it came time to eat no one was coming over for hot dogs. Alecia looked at me and said are you going to eat. I went over to her and fixed me a plate. :)))))) She also fixed a plate for herself. As she was walking back to the table she dropped her food in the floor. David cleaned it up for her. I thank him for that. :)))) She went straight outside and cried. :( I told my husband that all moms want everything to be perfect for their childs special day and when something goes wrong it just makes a mom want to cry. Alecia had homemade hot dog chili, hot dogs, and chips for all of us. :)))) Afterwards she gave everyone an oreo she had dipped in chocolate. :)))) Where I do not like chocolate oreos she gave me a little bottle of bubbles. :)))))) Your never to old for bubbles. LOL!!! After we all ate it was time for Sophie to open her gifts. :))) She liked getting presents, but she wasn't into opening them. LOL!!! She wanted to walk around the party room. LOL!!!! Afterwards she got to walk around a little. LOL!!! Then it was time for her birthday cake and all of us to sing Happy Birthday. :)))) I loved watching her dig into her cake. :)))))) She really enjoyed it. LOL!!!! I still can't believe she is already one. Time goes by fast. No more holding baby Sophie. :( She is on the go as much as possible. LOL!!! They are at Disney World now. :)))))) Miss Sophie thank you for letting Poppy and I (Nana) share your special day with you.:)))) Alecia you did an amazing job. :))))) You should be ever so proud. :)))))) I know I am. :))))) Love you both with my whole heart. :))))))) I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to each that looked, commented, and rated my last image. :)))))) I am getting sleepy so off to bed I must go. LOL!!
