Part 2.... (Try full view for more details!) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ No it wasn't her. It was me. It was me all along. Hanging on to some distant thing in the past. Some strong connection. A bond that grabbed and gripped and didn't want me to let go. Like an old familiar tune that refused to fade away. An older version. An older model. An older 'person'. And older friend. I was tired. Spent. My head a cavernous hollow that rumbled with pain and frustration. With a click of the mouse, I bade the new girl farewell. For now, at least. Maybe one day, she'll be ready for me. No, I'll be ready for her. She's probably too good for me now. Whatever. My eyes were tired and heavy,and my finger paused on the close and exit button. No, not yet. There was this tugging urgency inside me, almost frantic. I scanned around the folders, knowing I'd find her there. Just waiting. My girl. My friend. My V4. And there she was. Just as I had left her so many months ago. She was just a listing, but looking at her name caused a familiar tingling in my bones, artistic and otherwise. A real sensation. A bubbling excitement that threatened to spill over. Then it was spilling over. I double clicked with shaky fingers, and there was a slight pause as the disk protested, blinking. I sat forward in my chair, suddenly seized by terror, thinking of the worst. My girl, my V4. Please let me see her again. Please. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Some had read my previous post to think I was writing about V4. But I wasn't :-)...It was about 'a new girl' :-)... I guess it's due to my poor writing....but hey, the fact that you guys actually read all that...wow..thanks a lot :-) Me hopes you enjoys folks....
