Description

Please see Full Size! Went to the San Diego Zoo a couple weeks ago. I have very mixed feelings about zoos. But figured even if I never went they would still be there. So I did what I could to record the wonderful animals held captive there. This is the female doing some serious thinking in this shot. Thanks for looking all. Appreciate it. Bruce PS I walked with my 70-300 all day. Only took what I could get with that lens.

I'm sure her thoughts center around what you were doing at the time. I photographed a great ape just once and his eyes told me to stop and I did.

And to think...these beings share over 90% of our DNA. What's amazing is that for all their fierce chest beating and threatening demeanor (not to mention their size), gorillas are among the most shy and gentle of creatures...compared to most humans, they are positively urbane...
