Happy 4th July to all my American friends :D. I hope everyone is well, love and hugs Jane xx Little story - Mother and baby lay together in a cave that nestled in the rock face high above the clouds. The cub looked to his mother for protection and food the both he got too in abundance. The mother was always on the look out and just as the little cub came up for air after suckling contentedly on his mothers teat, she heard a sound ahead of her so gave her deepest and most disturbing growl of warning. The whole cave seemed to shake as her deep rumbling growl got stronger and stronger. Her instincts to protect her young were strong and she would stop at nothing in order to protect him.The cub looked up at her and could not believe the size of her teeth and how menacing she looked just then, he was curious for he had only ever known her gentle tenderness toward him, but he was learning that she would die for him so as to keep him safe after all she was his loving mother... I do hope you like this one, I have been trying to finish the female Leopard for over a year, and just kept putting it on file because I just couldn't get it to work for me, so I am relieved to have finally finished her so that I can present her to you with her cub :D All painted using Wacom Intuos3 tablet and pen within CS4 extended. Oh Jane! This is breathtaking! How beautiful the Mother Leopard is, you've gotten each hair just so perfectly, and the expression on her face is very fierce and convincing. I adore the little cub and the quizzical puzzled looked on his face, I think you've outdone yourself on this one.
