Great image,I much prefer the second,the slight diffusion,and colour saturation seem to give it an almost 3D effect.

I always prefer more saturation so the second one is my preferance. Combined with the hint of softness it lends a cool and and slightly moist feel to the lanscape which adds to the subtle mystery of the place.

Although I usually prefer more color saturation, I think in this case the stones & their patterns & textures stand out more dramatically against the more subdued background in your first post. But both have their appeal & they're each fine photos in their own way...
