Your ability to paint light is well accomplished. The warmth seems to leap off the screen. Your angel is radiant and gives life and seemly hope to a place that may have been too forlorn. But angels fall for many reasons; some lose their faith, some love too little, others love too much.

Une couleur et la lumière... tout est dit, la couleur, un ocre, une couleur de la terre et de sa matérialité, et cette lumière qui tombe du ciel comme l'ange dans sa chute, un simple voile peut-être agité par le vent et que la douloureuse frustration de notre humaine condition voudrait voir se transformer en apparition annonciatrice d'un autre niveau de la réalité... Une oeuvre épurée et magistrale, pour moi un chef d'oeuvre!

Le blanc vaporeux et l'ocre traditionnel, l'esprit et la matière, l'âme et le corps....toute la dualité de l'humain est ici.......cet ange symbolisé par un voile laisse transparaître la lumière aveuglante qui nous attend, le jour où nous monterons ces quelques marches.....cette oeuvre épurée qui n'en est que plus belle est une merveille, Jean !
