Description

For Miss truly. We were at a show today & Truly won her class. We didn't stay too long as it was so hot & we wanted to get the dogs home plus we wanted to watch Andrew Murray in the final at Wimbledon & hopefully win which he did :o) The pic is not too good as it was taken in the tent where it was cool. Would you believe that they had to call for people to go & get their dogs out of cars that they had left in the heat. They even smashed the windows of one & got 4 dogs out & took them to the show vet. Then they called for a Labrador exhibitor to get their dog out of car or they would stop Lab judging & find owners. I cannot believe people, a car is like an oven even on a cool day. I think these people should be disqualified from showing & named & shamed. We always put the welfare of the girls first, we keep them out of the sun & in the shade with plenty of cool drinks. Thanks for all the lovely comments & favs, so, so appreciated. xxx

Congratulations yet again Miss Truly Scrumptious, you are a star for your Mummy. As I said earlier it is beyond me that people are still leaving their dogs in cars in the heat!!! It was the same 8 years ago when I was showing my dogs too, you would think that by now people would understand that a dog can die a terrible death leaving them in hot cars!!!! Wonderful news about Truly! I am really shocked about the dogs in cars, it just shows that some show dog owners are not like you, and don't care at all about the animals, only the breeding fees.

What a wonderful pup she is! CONGRATS!!! I agree with you on the car issue. I just don't understand why people do it or how their conscience lets them. In this weather we even change when Maya goes for her walks so it's not in the heat of the day!

Congratulations to young Truly!!!! It is a shame that dog owners leave their pets in closed up cars. Over here it is ridicules how many times that parents live babies, in car seats, in closed up cars. In Florida, it is almost an epidemic.
