Description
This is a Nurbs patch model. I am currently rigging him for deformation tests. I spent two weeks on the model and a few days on the textures. Tell me what you think!

If I could produce such quality in two weeks I would be a very happy man. Even after two years I don't think I'd be that good.

He looks great, i just think he needs a peg leg, and a hook ;) but great job none-the-less

Oh, two more observations. I presume that the gold objects on the boots are buckles? Move them down to the top of the foot at the meeting of the foot to the lower leg where modern shoes would be tied with shoelaces, and then the boots would look more in period style. Also, try making the sash around his waist a different color, like blue or yellow, to break up the uniform red color of his clothes. The sash was the badge of rank to denote an officer or one in charge, before eppaulettes were created at the shoulders. Men's clothing back then did have a one color appearance, but was offset by a different color waistcoat or sash...sorry, I am a military history buff and I notice little things like uniforms and how they look. Even though this is a carricature, it is done fairly realistically, so it should be based in fact, I guess...
