Description
I saw a screenshot for the upcoming game from Blizzard, World of Warcraft. It was set in an abandoned mine. I decided to try and make a scene similar to it (with a much higher polycount). This kinda turned up. I had many variations of the lanterns that I came up with and I chose to use this one. Since I really like this image, I'm probably gonna go back and make some much more detailed and smooth lanterns (any ideas?).
The image was rendered in max 4.2 using a render effect called Film-age. This gave it the lack of color, some dust and scratches. The rest of the post-work was done in photoshop 6 using and overlapping image and the plugin, Dream Suite, which gave it the blurry, zoomy effect and even more lack of color.
All comments and tips for improvement welcome. Thanks.
