Description

Will be attaching an image from some time ago as a visual aid to go along with this post. Please visit the gallery for the last posting, "Pride of Madeira for alida". For those that have kept up with this trek, thank you. I wanted to say that first as it has been almost three years of my posting from this 6 hr hike...lol Many may recall that I took this little side detour in hopes of getting atop for a grand view of this natural amphitheater. Alas I was thwarted again, but it did allow for some interesting additional images(like "African Woman" and the dedication to Meisiekind). You can see how much of a lower vantage point this is by comparing the link. In the link, where the run off snakes down and out the amphitheater. After the walls narrow and around the corner is where this POV derives. Here we are looking left up into the amphitheater. As much as I wanted to drop down and swing around in order to hike up into there. Those rain clouds kept me from doing so.
