Indeed a great title and an impressive shot, I was always fascinated by these as a kid because you would see them in their masses often on nettle and catnip, around the same time some people wondered why the cats were all lazing around whilst foaming from the mouth on sunny days. The Greenbottle's shine in the sun like green mirrors. Great capture

Wow, that is one hell of a helipad -- which looks artificial -- that the Greenbottle fly is set to take off from. A handsome bloke for its species, if I say so myself. Sterling focus in this, and a nice digifiddle job blurring the background.
