Les fées-lucioles.
La nuit, la nuit était si sombre,
Elle avait englouti leur monde.
Des êtres ne restaient que les ombres,
De la lumière que les ténèbres,
Des sentiments que nostalgie.
"Fée-luciole, pourquoi portes-tu ta lumière
Puisque tes yeux ne la voient pas?"
"Ma propre lumière m'aveugle,
Mais je la vois, étoile scintillante,
Le reflet dans tes yeux, ma sœur!"

what an excellent image and story. as a child we use to catch fireflys and put them in a jar. we where very poor so that was one of our 'toys'...I remember how excited it made me to watch them threw the mason jar glass...very imaginative scene...excellent.. chills and thrills
