This is a part of my landscape here...we have an international airport about 22 miles from here, they cross over our house constantly...as kids (I lived across the road from where I am now) we'd lay on the grass and watch these and clouds! Cool capture Richard!

Chem trails - Can you guess the type of that aircraft. It's out of Warren Robbins AFB. That was a hard image to take I bet it's got to be about 40-50,000 feet. Excellent snap.

Excellent shot Richard... I used to watch contrails when I was a kid. our farm was located less than a quarter mile from the runway at a local airport. What I've noticed is that the "contrails" these days linger for many hours and spread out across the sky forming cloud layers. The usual contrails that I remember would dissipate and vanish in moments after the jet passed over, they didn't last entire days, and they rarely were seen in criss crossing patterns all over the skies.

Excellent photo, Richard. As to what they are, well I think it prudent to say nothing. Our Orwellian society could become upset. But as we all know, there is no such thing as conspiracies and everything is just Apple Pie and Ice Cream!!!!

whew...talk about pollution. I was just thinkin about all of it. i'm considering an electric cordless mower to 'reduce my footprint' but I think it's too late actually...yes i'm not very optimistic but I think i'll still gonna try the electric mower. gas keeps skyrocketing...e15 will probably destroy my late model car once it is implemented everywhere... excellent capture by you!!! chills and thrills

Chem-trails these days. They still look cool but don't like what they are and what they're doing to the airs. Very excellent capture though!
