Description
This is dedicated to all those fine Servicemen, whether they're from USA or UK who have suffered from PTSD.
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
I am very proud to be a Trustee of the charity Blue Apple Heroes, which draws no distinction between campaigns, whether it be the Falklands, Northern Ireland, Iraq, or Afghanistan.
I have been close to tears watching a program which shows that the number of serving military men, who have committed suicide in 2012, has increased by more than 47% this year.
To add to that, the British Military are not taking sufficient care, to assess each Soldier, for signs of severe depression, in many cases leading to suicide.
I am proud to be associated with three such Soldiers and Mark, himself recovering from PTSD, is tirelessly helping so many of his friends to cope with the reality of such deep seated trauma.

I am also ashamed to say that the British Military appear to have very little support in place for Servicmen who desperately need welfare and psychiatric support, whereas in USA this is a totally different story..

Steve, I believe that no matter what country you may be a citizen of, no government ever does enough for it's servicemen including POWs, MIAs, wounded physically or psychologically or just down on their luck. Thank you for doing this very nice tribute. Keeping average people aware is half the battle.

Excellent image love it,,,,,,,,,,and esp the pose and the color of her dress not doing well at all......can't walk without help missed 2 chemos...went Thurs and Dr says this type of chemo cause severe muscle pain and my leg has given me fits 2 ER and nothing.......he has ordered me a MRI and another Pet Scan if nothing new shows up he is going to stop the chemo he says it it is making me too weak,........ love this def a fav...........and 10 stars from me.......** plz keep me in your prayers hugs susan
