Sphaeophoria interrupta. Exciting to see this little insect today on such a pretty background.

I have seen some of these at first they scared me thought maybe they would sting now that i know what they are i can relax great shot on a beautiful bg.

Off-the-chart macro of this handsome hoverfly performing its genetic duties, Andrea. Other than an ant, it would be exciting for me to see any kind of insect on anything, much less lovely blooms.
