Description

Trackers ...A couple of tracking scouts are at a hold before entering a vast mountain range. Did the team they are tracking really go this way? Magnificent. It feels like a painting; excellent work. I know with the title, you are portraying a narrative here, but most of the light falls on the girl, so she is the main focus and the guy on the ground is barely noticeable. The first thing I thought (especially viewing the thumbnail), was she should be the only character (or there should be one lone figure), caught in the light. I think it then becomes a very strong landscape/portrait. The second character is more of a distraction. If this were one panel in a graphic novel, then it makes sense to have the other character as part of an ongoing story thread. Anyway, those are my two bits.

Thanks, folks! @ lhumungus: I tend to agree with the "second" character, and the original idea had only one rider, actually standing beside the horse, looking over the vastness. But then a sort of narrative developed, a few more scenes maybe to be made, and...well, I ended up with this :)

Magnificent - landscape, rock formations, vegetation, atmosphere, composition are all perfect. I like the "shock" of finding the second figure - to me he adds rather than distracts.
