Description

Imagine two Saturn class vehicles rolling out together. In this hypothetical early 1980s scene, a heavy lift Saturn with a partial payload of a Mars craft, follows an Apollo Saturn-V. I built the rocket and launch platform models. The cars were internet freebies and tough to see very well anyway. There are actually two crawler transporters at KSC which makes this scenario plausible. The Apollo Saturn-V to the left is 110.6 meters while the heavy lifter is 124.6 meters. The height is limited by the height of the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) door openings. The width of the first stage is limited by the height of the New Orleans, Louisiana based Michoud Saturn rocket fabrication plant roof.

Very nice work. You get a sense of the massive scale of these things. With some hypervoxels these would look great taking off. Well done
