Yes you leave me with my jaw on the floor too (tara). Truly a memory-feel, with that long bridge in stark white against all that gray and gray-blue, leading beyond sight; and with little else on the ground but pure gray. (The trees are all in front, and they're like a silk screen through which we view the scene.) The cafe is just a gray shape, I love its minimality; and you even have graffiti on it, with some wonderful painterly whites, etc. I love how you rendered those bold hues on the trucks---the only rich hues in the whole piece (which is dominated by subtle hues). And two people walking, lost in their own worlds. Memory to the core, mysterious, open, very busy in spots, sinewy, and the feeling of a little life coagulating in one spot in the middle of a very large unknown universe---at night. Brilliant. Another Nikolay vision---truly brilliant
